Waypoint 15 – Sagittarius A*
The final waypoint of our expedition is Sagittarius A*, the dark heart of our Galaxy
- Base Camp
- Now discovered at Stuemeae EG-Y d4548 Body 2 a (32.328, 108.838)
Where is our base camp?
One last mystery remains: where is our base camp? The last message we received from our scout is shown here: Scouting Report: Wu Li Bear
Pursuing the brief of finding an appropriate meeting place between 10Ly and 40Ly of Sagittarius A*, I restricted my search to systems previously reported to Universal Cartographics, in view of the density of systems in this vicinity.
I have found what looks to be an ideal spot for Base Camp. The suggested coordinates are (32.33, 108.84). I attach a photo of the landing site, which looks even better when the moon is up.
Very weary now; I must get some rest before embarking on the long task of preliminary scouting for the next expeditions to distant worlds. It feels as though I forgot to mention something in my report; maybe it will all be clearer if I can wake up with a head free of the voices ...
This is the last communication received from Commander Wu Li Bear, current whereabouts unknown. The Science Carrier for Ryker’s Hope will be FIMBULTHUL : V4V-2XZ stationed at Chraisuae WP-X e1-1232 (Stellar Trinity).

The culmination of our Distant Worlds 3 Expedition is one of the most iconic locations in the Galaxy, the central supermassive black hole more than half a million times as massive as Sol. Nearby, travellers can visit Explorer’s Anchorage (Stuemeae FG-Y d7561), the Ocellus starport that was built at the start of Distant Worlds 2. The Galactic Centre contains over a billion systems, the vast majority of them unexplored. Take the opportunity to find new wonders that can become the unmissable destinations for Distant Worlds 4 and beyond! We have arrived, but for our seasoned commanders, this is only the harbinger of the next stage of your voyage through the vast wonderlands of our Galaxy.
